Greg Croft is the New York bureau chief for ABC News. Croft manages
news teams based in the Eastern half of the U.S., leading breaking
news and day-to-day coverage in collaboration with editorial partners
across the news division.

Croft joined ABC News 20 years ago as an intern and rose through the
ranks, covering some of the most consequential news events.

He has held various roles across the organization, most recently
serving as senior manager of Newsgathering. Croft spent the majority
of his time on the ABC News New York assignment desk, where he played
a critical role in the network’s coverage of breaking news and major
planned events.

Croft has helped lead coverage of the mass shootings in Newtown,
Connecticut; Buffalo, New York; and Uvalde, Texas. He has also been
instrumental in the network’s political coverage, leading the embed
teams through four presidential election cycles and overseeing
coverage of the Iowa Caucuses, New Hampshire primaries, multiple
political conventions, and the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

Croft lives in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter.
